What metadata gets removed?
Everything embedded: GPS coordinates, camera model, timestamps, and all other EXIF/IPTC/XMP data. The image is re-encoded from raw pixels, so nothing survives.
Is my photo uploaded?
No. Stripping happens entirely in your browser — which is the whole point, since the metadata is exactly what you don't want to share.
Does it change image quality?
The pixels are re-encoded, so we use maximum quality settings (PNG is lossless, JPG at 0.95). Visually identical.
