Are my images uploaded anywhere?
No. The compression runs entirely in your browser using the Canvas API. Your images never leave your device.
What formats are supported?
JPG, PNG, WebP, and GIF for input. You can export as WebP (smallest), JPG, or PNG.
Will I lose quality?
WebP and JPG use lossy compression — lower quality settings mean smaller files. PNG export is lossless. The preview updates as you drag the slider, so you can find your sweet spot.
Is there a file size limit?
No artificial limit. Very large images are constrained only by your device's memory.
